The Human Immunome Project
Wayne Koff, PhD
The recent convergence of technological advances across human immunology, systems biology, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning offers an unprecedented opportunity to unravel the immense complexity of the human immune system and transform the future of human health. On 27-29 September 2022, 65 leading scientists from the biomedical and computing fields met in La Jolla, California to discuss plans for a Human Immunome Project with the mission of creating AI models of the human immune system.
